Rev. Dr. Neil C. Damgaard
Pastor Neil was raised in suburban Washington D.C., graduated from Virginia Tech (industrial engineering & operations research) in 1975 (married Renée English that Fall), worked for an engineering management consulting firm for the Navy until entering the ministry in 1977. He graduated from Dallas Seminary (historical theology) in May 1983 and has been our pastor since then. Pastor Neil again graduated from DTS in May of 2008 with the Doctor of Ministry degree. He loves study, preaching and teaching, ministering on campus at UMassDartmouth (currently as Protestant Chaplain), leading the board of elders, developing new ministries and discipling individual Christians. Neil and Renée are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Jocelyn (a senior mechanical engineer with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft) and Susanna (an R.N. and a grad student at Yale University) Renée is a high school math teacher and a graduate of S.M.U. (UMass Dartmouth) in 1991.
Steuart Bailey, Jr.
Steu was raised in Clark's Summit, PA, graduated from Roger Williams College as a marine biologist and works as a chemist for the New Bedford Public Works Department. Raised in a Presbyterian environment, Steu has been an elder in DBC since 1997. He ministers in many ways and enjoys a warm gift of hospitality. He and wife Carol, have two wonderful daughters, Nicole and Rebekah. Carol is a homemaker and principle teacher in their home school.
Donald Clapp
Don and wife Lubelia are longtime residents of Dartmouth. Donald works in maintenance for a local nursing home. He has served in the U.S.Army and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. He has been an elder in DBC since '02 and has a Bachelor's of Practical Ministry in Chaplaincy. Donald is always looking for ways to reach into the community with the Gospel. He has led several minsitries in our church and has served as an adult Sunday School teacher. Lubelia is employed at CHF Industries in Fall River as a spec writer in the Engineering Office and serves on our Women's Ministry team. Don and Lu have a grown son, Eric. Don has also served as area director for the National Day of Prayer. Donald is also greatly appreciated for his light-heart and constant cheerfulness!

William Hallet Jr.
Bill grew up in Dartmouth, the son of William Sr. and Dorothy, founding
members of DBC. Bill himself is a charter member. He was a Navy Seabee
and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is retired from a career with
the U.S. Postal service and brings a warm love for the community of
Dartmouth. He is married to Hope and they have two grown daughters, Victoria
(married to Brian) and Vanessa (married to Tim.) Bill brings a deep love
for Christ, careful attention to the Word of God, long experience in church
leadership, and a faithful commitment to the growth of the church. Bill was
appointed to the eldership in January 2010.
Dr. Larry Logan
Larry grew up in Illinois, served in the U.S. Army, received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, and is retired Professor of Accounting at U.Mass. Dartmouth. He has a heart for outreach, a great love of learning and skill at encouraging and discerning. He and his wife Fran, a registered nurse, live in Westport and have two grown daughters. Larry joined our Board of Elders in 2008.
Rev. Bill Stack
Bill grew up in Charlestown, Mass., served in the U.S. Air Force, is former pastor of Haven Baptist Church in New Bedford, MA, is a graduate of Citadel Bible College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Boston extension. Bill and wife Carol live in New Bedford and have two children, Danielle (a computer scientist with the Navy,) and married to Richard, and Will (a hair stylist and mechanic). We appreciate Bill for his love of the Word, his positive and helping approach to the body and for his sense of balance. He also watches out for our buildings and grounds, and became an Elder in 2008.
John Zarecki
John is originally from the Pittsburg area and wife Elizabeth is from Maine. John received his Master's degree from Colgate University and is a social worker in Fall River. Elizabeth is a teacher at Keith Junior High School in New Bedford and they are blessed with two sons, Dominic and Alexander. John has served as an elder in DBC since '02, and leads our senior men's ministry, our hospitality team and oversees our children's worker security training. Elizabeth helps in many ways including hospitality, and coordinated our children's Sunday School for several years. (John and Elizabeth marvelously came to Christ during the 1993 Franklin Graham Crusade in New Bedford!) John is much-loved for his great gift of encouragement, his leadership and his ever-willingness to help.
